This project consisted of creating a short film and a website about a creative person and their practice.
The target audience is other creatives, which informed the design, using photography elements in the buttons and user interactions.
I chose my friend Vikki who specializes in analogue and digital photography. The video shows her work with minimal animations done by me, overlayed with Vikki’s perspective on her photos. Alongside the interview, I designed and coded an interactive website which further showcases her art style and personality.
I wanted the layout to be pretty simple and clean, so the interactions stand out. The film roll reveals the short film if you click any of the still images. The buttons and text interactions were inspired by the camera lens focusing and unfocusing
