The brief was to create a campaign for Depop as part of the D&AD New Blood 2025 competition. Depop’s issue was that the circular fashion market had become crowded, and it needed to stand out.
Sites like Vinted offer cheaper clothes. Moreover, some people don’t trust Depop sellers because they are afraid of being scammed online. However, what people love about Depop is the way you can talk directly to the other person, focusing on human connection rather than a typical company–client relationship
Strenghting this human connection by bringing Depop IRL!
Depop Mix is a campaign inviting people to curate their own eccentric outfits and get a chance to be featured on billboards and official Depop social media. Depop will host monthly pop-up stores in different cities with clothing swaps. This will enhance Depop’s visibility, by showing a free way to spice up your wardrobe.
